Technology Architect - SAP BTP

Roles and responsibilities

• Responsible for designing and implementing innovative SAP BTP solutions for customers, with a focus on the latest SAP cloud solutions & platforms.


• Design, co-create and implement SAP BTP Go-to-Market solutions with integrations to SAP S/4HANA Cloud and On-Premise, (Rise & Grow Suites), allied SAP Cloud and On Premise systems e.g. Ariba, Concur, MDG etc.


• Provide expertise and guidance on the selection of SAP or best-of-breed solutions across business capabilities and processes (cross business domains).


• Analyze client technology architectures and integrations, evaluate the optimal use of BTP solutions and advise customers on the design and implementation of the solutions.


• Manage projects and lead teams of functional/technical consultants and client staff from solution ideation to delivery of BTP related innovations.


• Drive workshops, interface across client business & IT teams, translate business needs into optimal solutions.


• Articulate BTP and InfoKrafts value proposition to clients, lead & participate in events e.g. hackathons and customer meets.


• Deliver Responses to RFI/RFPs, publish whitepapers, social media posts.


• Identify and provision BTP relevant resources (systems & services) internally.


• Training and Capability building of internal resources.


• Build relevant Tools, Accelerators, Migration Kits for implementation of projects and solutions.

Expected experience, skill sets and abilities

• More than 6 years of experience in full lifecycle implementation of SAP S/4HANA and SAP BTP solutions (Clean Core, CAP, RAP, Integration Suite, Datasphere, SAC, RPA, and the latest AI foundation).


• Hands-on experience with the BTP platform in at least 2 of the BTP technology domains.


• Demonstrable in-depth knowledge and achievements as an SAP Business Technology Architect with at least one end-to-end implementation of an SAP S/4HANA project on premise or on Cloud IaaS hosting.


• Proven record of accomplishment in designing SAP S/4HANA Architecture strategies in hybrid (Cloud/On-Premise) and heterogeneous (SAP/Non SAP/Best-of-Breed) landscapes.


• Proven record of success in SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA conversions/migrations (greenfield, brownfield and hybrid/Bluefield).


• Knowledge of SAP S4/HANA Cloud and the connection of SAP systems via SOAP, ODATA or events.


• Demonstrable experience in the development of side-by-side extensions.


• Excellent English communication along with presentation, moderation and business-partnering skills. German fluency (B2/C1 level) would be a plus.


• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.


• The ability to work within a highly distributed team environment, multi-task and prioritise tasks.


• A performance-driven mindset, with strong work ethics and integrity.

Ideally, youll also have:

  • Experience in implementing projects with SAP Fiori, CAP and NodeJs.
  
  
  • Proven record of investing in SAP practice development by increasing awareness of SAP solutions and offerings.
  
  
  • Experience liaising with SAP for Solutions.
  
  
  • Experience in SAP BTP Product development for 1-2 domains.
  
  
  • A techno-functional background.
  
  
  • The relevant SAP certification/s.
  
  
  • The experience of working in a multinational organization and/or a big consultancy.
  
  
  • Working experience with European clients.
  
  
  • The willingness to work partly or fully during European office hours (CET).
  
  
  • The willingness to learn about new technologies when the need arises.
