Job Description
- Proven expertise in back-end development using Node.js , TypeScript , and the Express framework
- Strong experience with relational databases such as Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server , or PL/SQL
- Solid analytical thinking and a strong understanding of backend systems and processes
- Hands-on front-end development using React , TypeScript , JavaScript (ES6+) , HTML5 , and SCSS
- Proficiency in unit testing using Jest
- Familiarity with microservices architecture and event-driven design
- Experience using tools like Jira , Confluence , and GitHub
- Good understanding and experience with Agile development methodologies
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Exposure to enterprise-scale applications/projects
- Experience working with MongoDB
- Familiarity with Pentaho Reports and Oracle APEX
- Knowledge of Docker for containerization
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
Job Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performance web applications using Node.js, TypeScript, Express, and React.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Build and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices within an event-driven architecture.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following industry best practices and coding standards.
- Develop and maintain front-end components using React, TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and SCSS.
- Perform database design, development, and optimization using relational databases such as Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server.
- Create and execute unit tests using Jest to ensure code quality and reliability.
- Participate actively in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and reviews.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues across the stack, providing timely fixes and enhancements.
- Utilize version control tools (GitHub) and collaborate using Jira and Confluence for task tracking and documentation.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to code reviews, promoting knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and suggest improvements to enhance system efficiency and performance.
