Job Description
Job Title: Civil Site Engineer Retail Store Projects
Job Location: Andhra Pradesh & Telangana.
Job Purpose:
To oversee and execute civil construction activities for retail store developments, ensuring timely delivery, quality standards, and compliance with design specifications and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Site Execution & Supervision:
- Manage day-to-day construction activities on-site.
- Ensure work aligns with architectural and structural drawings.
- Monitor progress and resolve on-site issues promptly.
- Vendor & Contractor Coordination:
- Liaise with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
- Conduct regular site meetings to align teams.
- Layout Understanding & Execution:
- Review architectural and interior layout drawings to confirm dimensions and positioning.
- Work closely with design teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure accurate layout execution on-site.
- Set out site measurements and control benchmarks for layout precision.
- Quality & Safety Compliance:
- Conduct inspections to ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Enforce safety protocols and conduct audits.
- Address non-compliance and implement corrective actions.
- Project Planning & Reporting:
- Prepare and update project schedules and milestones.
- Track resource usage and maintain documentation.
- Report progress to project managers and stakeholders.
- Stakeholder Communication:
- Coordinate with Project Manager & HOD, and brand representatives.
- Resolve design and execution-related queries.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree / Diploma in Civil Engineering or related field.
- 0 - 2 years of experience in site execution, preferably in retail or commercial projects.
- Familiarity with mall construction protocols is a plus.
Skills Required:
- Strong knowledge of construction methods and materials.
- Knowledge in AutoCAD, MS Project, and site management tools.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple sites and teams simultaneously.
