What Youll Do
Package & Deploy
- Develop reusable Helm charts, templates, and pipelines for consistent deployments across customer environments.
- Containerize and deploy applications across Kubernetes platforms such as AKS, EKS, GKE, and OpenShift.
- Maintain cluster configurations aligned with Kubernetes best practices and industry standards.
SaaS Enablement
- Design and manage SaaS environments: Single-Tenant Dedicated, Shared, and Multi-Tenant Clusters.
- Deploy on AWS, Azure, and GCP, with emphasis on scalability, security, and compliance.
- Implement cost-optimization strategies via resource provisioning, autoscaling, and usage monitoring.
Developer Environments & Automation
- Automate the provisioning and lifecycle of Dev, QA, and UAT environments.
- Optimize workflows for increased engineering productivity and platform reliability.
Technical Implementation & Leadership
- Own and implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps infrastructure.
- (Optional) Lead and mentor a team of 5 - 10 DevOps Engineers based on experience level.
Monitoring & Observability
- Implement observability with OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, and Jaeger.
- Integrate real-time monitoring and alerting within CI/CD pipelines for enhanced visibility.
What Makes You a Great Fit
- Expert in Kubernetes and Helm your core strengths.
- Hands-on experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Git-based workflows.
- Real-world deployment experience on AWS, Azure, GCP, or OpenShift.
- Scripting proficiency in Shell, Python, or Groovy.
- Solid experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
- Strong understanding of cloud-native security and compliance, including:
- Image hardening
- RBAC
- Secrets management
- OPA, CIS Benchmarks, SOC2, etc.
Bonus Points For
- Cloud certifications: AWS, Azure, GCP or IaC (e.g., Terraform).
- Experience with GitOps (e.g., Argo CD, Flux).
- Familiarity with virtual Kubernetes clusters (e.g., KinD).
- Exposure to multi-tenant architectures.
- Background in Java or Python development.
- Experience in cloud cost optimization strategies.
