Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented HRIS Support Specialist to join our HR team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Workday, a strong understanding of HR processes, and the ability to provide technical support, system administration, and reporting solutions. This role involves close collaboration with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth HR technology operations and successful system enhancements.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with internal project teams and stakeholders, providing updates and tracking progress.
  • Act as the primary resource for specific functional HR areas, offering expert guidance and support to internal users.
  • Work closely with internal customers to understand requirements and implement Workday best practices for solution rollouts.
  • Provide day-to-day support for Workday and other HR technology systems, including configuration, system administration, troubleshooting, and data audits.
  • Develop and maintain standard and ad-hoc reports, ensuring system accuracy and meeting business needs.
  • Liaise with internal and external teams to resolve issues and recommend process improvements.
  • Assist in system enhancements, upgrades, testing, and validation to align with organizational needs.
  • Conduct training sessions for internal clients on new processes or functionalities and prepare user documentation.
  • Stay updated by participating in the Workday Community, identifying potential issues and new solutions.
  • Implement system Change Requests following established change management procedures.
  • Provide end-to-end configuration support for Workday solutions, including legacy data conversion and integrations.
  • Research and recommend Workday best practices, module dependencies, and enhanced reporting/dashboard capabilities.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience with Workday.
  • Post-secondary education in HR, IT, or related field.
  • Prior experience with UKG is an added advantage.
  • Strong proficiency in business process mapping and Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
  • Experience with Workforce Management (WFM) systems preferred.
  • Solid understanding of HRIS structures, functions, and processes.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
  • Customer relationship management experience with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail and high-quality standards.
  • Ability to audit work for accuracy and completeness.
  • Digital literacy and ability to translate technical information for non-technical stakeholders.
