Job Description

Key Responsibilities

1. Underwriting Decisions
   
• Make accurate and timely underwriting decisions within assigned authority limits.
  
• Recommend decisions for cases beyond authority limits.
  
• Meet defined Turnaround Times (TATs) and quality benchmarks.
  
2. Guideline Adherence & Development
   
• Strictly follow underwriting guidelines.
  
• Support in creating and enhancing guidelines for new products to ensure profitability.
  
• Contribute to market mapping and research.
  
3. Escalation Resolution
   
• Handle and resolve underwriting-related escalations promptly and appropriately.
  
4. System Proficiency & Testing
   
• Understand system workflows and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  
• Ensure accurate implementation of underwriting requirements.
  
5. Profitability & Risk Management
   
• Perform due diligence to maintain healthy loss ratios and rejection percentages.
  
• Ensure prudent risk acceptance to support portfolio quality.
  
6. Process Improvement
   
• Participate in initiatives and projects aimed at process optimization and increasing efficiency.
  
7. Customer Interaction
   
• Address customer grievances related to underwriting or mis-selling with appropriate resolution strategies.
  

Eligibility Criteria

• Educational Qualification: BHMS / BAMS / MBBS (mandatory)
  
• Experience: Freshers and experienced candidates are welcome
  
• Skill Set:
  
• Strong attention to detail for case-by-case analysis
  
• Ability to manage workflows dependent on system performance
  
• Seamless coordination with cross-functional teams
  
• Good communication and analytical skills
  

Compensation & Joining Details

• CTC Range: 57 LPA (based on experience)
  
• Joining Timeline: Immediate joiners or those available within 30 days preferred
  
• Onboarding Requirement: All mandatory documents must be available at the time of joining
