Job Description
Hi Folks,
We are hiring "Site Reliability Engineer" - Pune
Key Responsibilities:
- Support and maintain high-performance software solutions.
- Analyze and resolve performance issues.
- Improve application reliability and responsiveness.
- Communicate ideas, issues, status, and outcomes effectively with team and management.
- Advocate professionally for the right solutions and promote a positive team culture.
- Work in a 24x5 shift environment, including on-call support during weekends.
- Participate actively in Incident Management, Change Release handling, and proactive monitoring.
- Contribute to automation efforts and DevOps tooling recommendations.
- Assist in the release and deployment process.
- Debug and tune application and service performance.
- Troubleshoot complex issues involving multiple systems.
- Optimize and automate repetitive tasks where possible.
- Stay updated with Cloud applications monitoring, logging, and support.
- Collaborate on advancing DevOps discipline across the enterprise.
Shift Timings:
- Morning Shift: 5:30 AM 2:30 PM
- General Shift: 11:30 PM 8:30 PM
- Night Shift: 6:30 PM 3:30 AM
Note: Ready to work on shifts and physically attend office.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field.
- Hands-on experience with Incident Management Processes, ITIL framework, and ServiceNow or equivalent ticketing tools.
- Proficient in Microsoft .Net stack (C#, VB.Net, ASP.Net) or Java with debugging capabilities.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server with ability to write queries and stored procedures.
- Knowledge of SRE and ITIL processes.
- Experience working in production environments handling incidents and change releases.
- Basic understanding of cloud applications and monitoring (Azure, GCP, AWS).
- Experience in the payment domain is a plus.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with Agile methodology.
Technical Skills:
- Programming Languages: C#, VB.Net, ASP.Net, Java, Python (advantageous).
- Web Technologies: AngularJS, React, JSON.
- Database: Microsoft SQL Server (queries, stored procedures).
- Tools & Monitoring: ServiceNow, ActiveBatch job monitoring, Datadog, Rally, Octopus.
- DevOps: Git, CI/CD pipelines, release management.
- Cloud: Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- Automation & Scripting: Experience with tools like Chef and scripting languages preferred.
