Position Overview
We are looking for experienced and enthusiastic Food & Beverage (F&B) Managers to oversee all aspects of our restaurant operations across multiple locations in The Netherlands. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a passion for Indian food, possess strong leadership qualities, and have a proven track record in restaurant management. You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of food quality, customer service, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Operations Management:
- Oversee daily restaurant operations to ensure smooth and efficient service.
- Manage and coordinate kitchen and dining staff.
- Uphold hygiene and safety standards in compliance with Dutch regulations.
Staff Management:
- Recruit, train, and supervise restaurant staff.
- Develop staff schedules to ensure optimal coverage during peak times.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching.
Customer Service:
- Ensure an exceptional dining experience for all guests.
- Address customer complaints promptly and professionally.
- Implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction, loyalty, and feedback.
Financial Management:
- Prepare and manage budgets; analyze financial reports.
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency.
- Monitor inventory levels, oversee ordering, and minimize waste.
- Ensure accurate cash handling and financial procedures.
Menu & Quality Control:
- Collaborate with chefs to develop and update menus.
- Ensure food presentation and quality meet high standards.
- Stay updated with current culinary trends and customer preferences.
Marketing & Promotions:
- Plan and execute marketing strategies to attract and retain customers.
- Organize special events, promotions, and community partnerships.
- Promote the restaurant on social media and other channels.
Qualifications & Skills
- Four years of Bachelors degree in Hotel Management/Hospitality Management, or any Graduate degree plus PG Diploma/Degree in Hotel /Hospitality Management.
- Proven experience as an F&B or Restaurant Manager, preferably with Indian cuisine.
- Strong knowledge of restaurant operations, safety, and hygiene regulations in The Netherlands.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills.
- Financial acumen with experience in budgeting, cost control, and inventory management.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment under pressure.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in Dutch or Hindi is a plus.
