Role & responsibilities
Manage and optimize AWS infrastructure components (EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, VPC, Lambda, etc.)
Develop and maintain automation scripts (Bash, Python, PowerShell) to support operations, deployments, and monitoring tasks
Monitor system performance, availability, and usage using tools like CloudWatch, Datadog, or Prometheus
Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or CDK
Implement and enforce security best practices (IAM roles, encryption, patching, logging)
Handle incident response, root cause analysis, and resolution of production issues
Support CI/CD pipelines and assist development teams with deployment automation (Jenkins, CodePipeline, GitHub Actions, etc.)
Optimize cost, performance, and resource utilization across environments
Maintain backup and disaster recovery strategies for cloud workloads
Participate in on-call rotation and respond to critical alerts

Additional Requirements
- AWS Certified SysOps Administrator or AWS Certified Solutions Architect
- Experience with Kubernetes or ECS/EKS
- Familiarity with configuration management tools like Ansible or Chef
- Exposure to multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments
- Experience supporting regulated workloads in healthcare, finance, or government sectors
