Job Description
Position : Construction Manager
Qualification : Bachelor of Engineering of Mech
Salary : 20000 AED (FAT is Provided by the company)
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the execution of all mechanical works including piping installation, equipment erection (static and rotating), structural steel, supports, and mechanical pre-commissioning.
- Coordinate daily with EPC contractor and client representatives for permit approvals, inspections, progress reviews, and issue resolution.
- Manage and allocate manpower, equipment, tools, and materials to maintain productivity and progress.
- Ensure compliance with project quality and HSE standards, and participate in inspections, hydrotests, punch clearance, and system handovers.
- Oversee and track work progress, delays, resource utilization, and submit daily/weekly reports.
- Lead mechanical teams including engineers, supervisors, foremen, welders, riggers, and technicians.
Education:
- Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university
(or) - Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with additional 5+ years of hands-on field execution experience
Experience:
- 15+ years of mechanical construction experience in large-scale oil & gas, petrochemical, or refinery projects
- At least 5 years in a leadership role managing full mechanical scope (piping, equipment, structural)
- Proven track record of successful execution under EPC or PMC clients on high-value projects ($300M+)
Certifications (Preferred but not mandatory):
- CSWIP 3.1 / 3.2
- API 510 / API 570 / API 650
- ASME or AWS Certified Welding Inspector
- PMP or NEBOSH (an asset for leadership roles)
Skills & Knowledge:
- Deep understanding of ASME, API, ISO standards for construction and quality
- Strong field experience in welding, rigging, pressure testing, mechanical alignment, and equipment installation
- Familiarity with construction software (Primavera P6, MS Project, AutoCAD/Navisworks)
Salary Bracket- Open to Negotiate , Up to AED 20,000 plus Food & accommodation Provided at site.
