1. Job Identification

Job Title: Sr. Automation Expert

Reporting to: Team Lead / Assistant General Manager

2. Job Purpose & Freedom to Act

Job Purpose:

Skilled Automation Engineer with hands-on experience in Camunda BPM to design, develop, and maintain business-critical workflows. You will translate complex business requirements into efficient, scalable, and automated process flows.

Decision Making / Freedom to Act:

Discover, Design, Evaluate and Build automation solutions.

3. Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

• Design and implement workflow solutions using Camunda BPMN, DMN, and CMMN frameworks
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to analyze requirements, map current processes, and define automation opportunities
• Build end-to-end process automations including integration with backend systems and data platforms
• Define and enforce best practices in process modeling, deployment, and monitoring
• Maintain and enhance existing Camunda-based solutions to meet evolving business needs
• Partner with Product, Data, and IT teams to ensure workflows are data-driven and sustainable
• Document technical designs, process flows, and configuration for long-term maintainability
• Collaborate with functional analyst for process identification and feasibility
• Gather and understand the requirements and identify the business flow

4. Required Functional Skills / Needed Experience

Functional Skills & Experience Required:

Experienced in end-to-end development of Business Processes using Camunda (MUST)

Experience in:

• Discovering automation opportunities using Camunda
• Performing proof of concepts to help the business assess feasibility
• Creating process maps using flow diagrams
• Collaborating with Business Analysts, Scrum Masters, Solution Owners, and cross-functional teams
• JavaScript, VBA/VBS, and REST API
• 4+ years of relevant experience
• Bachelor's or Masters degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• Strong communication skills
