Job Description

The ideal candidate for this position should exhibit excellence with PeopleSoft Query, Application Designer, BI Publisher, and Crystal. You should have experience working in both UNIX and Windows environments and with Oracle databases 10 or 11G. It is essential to have experience with PeopleTools 8.49 or higher. In addition, you must possess excellent customer service and communication skills, as well as the ability to logically troubleshoot technical problems. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are required for this role. Advanced MS Office skills are also a must. A thorough knowledge of systems to support utility operations is necessary, along with the demonstrated ability to leverage business applications for competitive advantage. You should be able to establish and maintain effective working relationships and communicate with all levels in the organization. The successful candidate will have significant experience in software development tools, scripting tools, and multiple programming languages that effectively support the business applications/environments for the business areas they support. You should also have experience in providing information for project charters, technical approaches/proof of concept documents, and functional/technical designs. Good communication skills and the aptitude to work with business process owners and technical users are essential for this position.
