Job Description
- As a Tax Deputy Manager at EisnerAmper Advisory Group, you will be an integral part of the Financial Services Tax practice. With a minimum of 4 years of experience in U.S./Global taxation, this role offers an exciting opportunity for U.S. tax professionals with expertise in investment fund taxation. You will play a crucial role in leading tax assignments, ensuring compliance with U.S. Tax Law, and mentoring a small team within the tax cluster. Your responsibilities will include handling end-to-end tax assignments, reviewing tax returns, managing a team of 12 members, and serving as the first-level escalation point for technical queries from juniors. To excel in this role, you must possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field, along with hands-on experience in Funds-of-Funds, Hedge Funds, Private Equity, or Venture Capital taxation. Additionally, you should have a strong background in Form 1065 and associated U.S. partnership compliance, financial services or investment industry taxation, and team leadership. Although not mandatory, a professional certification such as CPA, CA, or Enrolled Agent would be a plus. The work environment at EisnerAmper includes a 4-day work week with mandatory in-office days on Monday and Friday. The shift timings are from 12:30 PM to 9:30 PM IST, with flexibility required during peak seasons.
