Job Description

Position Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Placement Officer to manage and enhance the placement opportunities for students of our Hotel Management programs. The Placement Officer will be responsible for building industry connections, coordinating campus recruitment drives, mentoring students for interviews, and ensuring successful placements in reputed hospitality brands both in India and abroad.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Industry Liaison: Develop strong relationships with top hotels, resorts, cruise lines, airlines, and hospitality groups to secure placement and internship opportunities.
  • Placement Coordination: Organize and manage campus recruitment drives, walk-in interviews, and industry interaction events.
  • Student Training & Grooming: Conduct mock interviews, resume-building workshops, group discussions, and soft skills training.
  • Internship & OJT: Arrange On-the-Job Training (OJT) and internships for students in India and abroad as part of the academic curriculum.
  • Placement Records: Maintain detailed records of student placements, employer feedback, and performance reports.
  • Alumni Network: Engage with alumni for guest lectures, mentorship, and potential recruitment support.
  • Reporting: Provide regular reports to the management on placement statistics, progress, and future strategy.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality, HR, or a related field.
  • Minimum 25 years of experience in placement or corporate relations, preferably in an educational or hospitality background.
  • Excellent communication, networking, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to motivate and mentor students.
  • Strong understanding of hospitality industry trends and recruitment practices.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and basic data handling tools.

Preferred Qualities:

  • Prior experience working in a hotel or hospitality recruitment agency.
  • Familiarity with international internship processes and visa/documentation requirements.
  • Bilingual proficiency (English + regional language) is an advantage.
