Job Description
- As a Senior Backend Software Development Engineer III (SDE III) specializing in Node.js and Golang, you will be pivotal in the design, development, and scalability of high-performance backend solutions. Your role demands exceptional technical leadership, advanced problem-solving abilities, and a profound grasp of software engineering principles. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you will be entrusted with setting the technical direction, guiding fellow engineers, and ensuring the delivery of reliable, efficient, and scalable systems. With a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (a Master's degree would be advantageous), you should possess a minimum of 6 years of professional experience in software development, showcasing expertise in backend technologies and architecture. Your proficiency should extend to JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, Golang, and Python, with a strong command of databases like MongoDB, Redis, and Kafka, including adept performance tuning and troubleshooting skills. Your responsibilities will encompass leading the development and deployment of top-notch software applications, creating intricate microservices to construct sustainable backend systems, and steering technical projects while mentoring junior engineers. You will champion CI/CD practices, employing Docker and Jenkins, manage containerized applications using Kubernetes, and monitor and optimize system performance with tools like Datadog. Moreover, you will be tasked with developing secure, efficient APIs, collaborating with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, and GCP, and leveraging ELK stack for enhanced data analysis. Your role will also involve ensuring backend application reliability, scalability, and security, conducting code reviews, troubleshooting production issues, and continuously enhancing team productivity and code quality. This role not only underscores technical prowess but also accentuates the significance of leadership and mentorship capabilities, vital for steering projects and cultivating a culture of technical excellence within the team.,
