Job Description

As a Software Engineer II, you will be an integral part of an agile team dedicated to enhancing, designing, and delivering the software components of the firm's cutting-edge technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable manner. As a budding member of the software engineering team, you will be responsible for executing software solutions through designing, developing, and technically troubleshooting multiple components within a technical product, application, or system. This role will provide you with the opportunity to acquire the skills and experience necessary for your professional growth. Your key responsibilities will include executing standard software solutions, writing secure and high-quality code using at least one programming language, designing, developing, coding, and troubleshooting with regard to upstream and downstream systems and technical implications, applying knowledge of tools within the Software Development Life Cycle toolchain to enhance automation, utilizing technical troubleshooting to address technical problems of basic complexity, analyzing large and diverse data sets to identify issues and contribute to decision-making for secure and stable application development, learning and implementing system processes, methodologies, and skills for secure and stable code and systems development, and fostering a team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect. To be successful in this role, you should possess formal training or certification in software engineering concepts along with at least 2 years of applied experience. You should have hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability, as well as experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment using modern programming languages and database querying languages. Demonstrable ability to code in one or more languages, experience across the entire Software Development Life Cycle, exposure to agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security, and emerging knowledge of software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.) are also required. Preferred qualifications include familiarity with modern front-end technologies and exposure to cloud technologies.,
