Job Description
- As an Automation QA Team Lead at UST in Kochi, you will be responsible for leading and mentoring a team of QA engineers (Manual/Automation) to ensure comprehensive test coverage. Collaborating with product and development teams, you will implement best practices for automation testing and continuous integration (CICD) while identifying and mitigating risks through thorough testing processes. Your role will involve analyzing test results, identifying defects, and ensuring timely resolution, along with designing, creating, and maintaining test cases for automation. Extending QA automation frameworks and tools as needed will be crucial, as well as performing all functions of an Automation QA Analyst Senior. It is essential to ensure adherence to SDLC processes and quality assurance methodologies, demonstrating strong problem-solving, analytical, and time management skills. Excellent oral and written communication within the team and across departments is key to success in this role. Moreover, having a sound understanding of BDD (Behavior-Driven Development) automation concepts is necessary to excel in your responsibilities. To qualify for this position, you should have 8 years of overall experience in automation testing, including 2-3 years of hands-on experience using Selenium WebDriver with C# and SpecFlow. Strong knowledge of SDLC and agile methodologies, proficiency in Quality Assurance methodologies, and good understanding of CICD concepts are required. Additionally, possessing excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with sound knowledge of BDD automation, will be advantageous.
