Job Description
- As a Test Automation Engineer at UST in Trivandrum, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and executing automated test scripts using C# and Selenium WebDriver for web applications. Your role will involve implementing test automation frameworks and strategies to ensure comprehensive test coverage across multiple platforms. Additionally, you will integrate test automation scripts into Azure DevOps pipelines to support continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD). Collaboration with development teams is essential in this role as you will need to understand product requirements and create effective testing strategies. You will be performing various types of tests including functional, regression, performance, and smoke tests to ensure software quality and stability. Troubleshooting and debugging test failures, logging issues, and working with development teams to resolve defects are also part of your responsibilities. Furthermore, you will maintain and improve test scripts to keep up with application changes and design and execute performance testing using tools like Azure Load Testing or other relevant testing tools. Generating test reports and providing detailed feedback to stakeholders on the status of quality assurance activities is crucial. Your participation in code reviews and providing feedback to improve testability and application reliability will contribute to the overall success of the team. Key Skills required for this role include proficiency in C#, Selenium, and Azure technologies.
