Job Title: Business Analyst / Transition Specialist

Job Summary:
We are looking for a meticulous and data-savvy Business Analyst with advanced research skills and a passion for uncovering insights from diverse and complex data sources. This role demands a keen eye for detail, experience working on RFPs/RFIs, and an understanding of automation tools such as Python or Perl scripting. Knowledge of US and UK data is added advantage.
Responsibilities:
- Perform deep research and advanced data exploration to identify and validate new data sources, especially across the US and UK markets.
- Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and develop tailored data-driven solutions.
- Analyze large datasets to extract meaningful insights and support decision-making.
- Prepare various output using advance excel.
- Investigate and resolve complex business problems using data-backed methods and multi-dimensional thinking.
- Added advantage in understanding Python or Perl scripting for data automation, web scraping, or transforming raw data into structured formats.
- Maintain high standards for accuracy, consistency, and detail in data handling and documentation.
- Continuously monitor new and emerging data providers, tools, and platforms relevant to our markets.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Any degree.
- 3+ years of experience in a research, data research, or market intelligence role.
- Demonstrated expertise in advanced web research techniques and open-source intelligence.
- Strong knowledge of data sources, business registries, and company information in the US and UK.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, macros, data modeling).
- Knowledge of Python and/or Perl for automation, data cleaning, or extraction is added advantage.
- High attention to detail, accuracy, and documentation.
- Ability to work with ambiguity and drive clarity from incomplete data.
- Good communication skills.
