Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Power BI Developer to join our data analytics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing interactive and insightful business intelligence dashboards and reports using Power BI. You will work closely with business stakeholders, data engineers, and analysts to transform raw data into meaningful visual stories that support decision-making processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy Power BI reports, dashboards, and visualizations.
• Connect to various data sources (SQL Server, Excel, SharePoint, APIs, etc.).
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and data models.
• Optimize DAX queries and Power BI performance.
• Ensure data accuracy and dashboard reliability.
• Publish and schedule Power BI reports using the Power BI Service.
• Collaborate with business users to iterate and improve report designs.
• Implement row-level security and access control in Power BI.
• Maintain documentation for developed dashboards and data processes.
• Stay updated with the latest Power BI features and best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Power BI development.
• Strong knowledge of DAX, Power Query (M), and data modeling principles.
• Proficiency in SQL and working with relational databases (SQL Server preferred).
• Experience in data cleansing, transformation, and integration.
• Good understanding of business processes and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Experience with Power BI Gateway and report publishing to Power BI Service.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have):

• Experience with Azure Data Services (Data Factory, Synapse, etc.).
• Familiarity with other BI tools like Tableau, Qlik, or SSRS.
• Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments.
• Microsoft Power BI Certification (PL-300 or equivalent).
