Job Description
Job Title: DevSecOps Engineer
Location: India { Mumbai /Chennai ) ONSITE
Time: INDIA - 8.00 am IST to 5.00pm IST
DevSecOps will be responsible for defining and implementing the build, deployment and monitoring standards for security tools. As part of security teams to deliver an end-to-end automation of deployment, monitoring, and infrastructure management in a cloud environment- they will drive application security / compliance through DevSecOps practices. He/She will build and configure delivery secured environment for supporting CD/CI tools using an Agile delivery methodology & create scripts and/or templates to automate and/or bootstrap infrastructure provisioning and management tasks for security tools. They will additionally, install, configure, test and maintain operating systems, application software and system management tools.
Requirements:
1. Must have 5-8 years experience in information security, cybersecurity, technology security management in large multinational financial / technology institutions environment & 3+ years of deep experience with DevSecOps.
2. Must have prior experience deploying and monitoring web applications in AWS with a security first mindset inclusive of:
a. Demonstrated experience with secure development, coding, engineering practices
b. Experience with fully automating CI/CD pipelines end-to-end, from code commits to production or Develop, document, and implement CI/CD strategy for management of Infrastructure as Code IaC baseline
c. Experience with Infrastructure as Code and infrastructure testing strategies
3. Responsible for ensuring the VAPT team has updated knowledge of IT security, emerging API threats, OWASP top 10 vulnerabilities and persistent threat scenarios
4. Responsible for initiating remediation action based on Threat Intelligence sources in support of security situational awareness
5. Good experience in administering and performance tuning of application stacks, such as Tomcat, JBoss, Apache, Ruby, NGINX, and others
6. Solid/strong experience in installing, configuring and troubleshooting UNIX/Linux based environments
7. Solid /strong scripting skills, including shell scripts, Perl, Ruby, Python, Go, Groovy, Helm, etc
8. Solid /strong experience in installing, configuring and troubleshooting UNIX/Linux based environments
9. Have effective verbal and non-verbal communication with peers and clients
