Position Summary:
We are looking for a DevOps Architect with a deep understanding of software
architecture and Azure cloud technologies. The ideal candidate will lead the
design and implementation of scalable, secure, and efficient systems,
aligning development, operations, and deployment processes. As a DevOps
Architect, you will define the companys cloud-native architecture, DevOps
roadmap, and foster a culture of innovation and automation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architectural Design: Design and implement scalable, secure, and
efficient software architectures within the Azure cloud ecosystem.
Provide technical leadership in designing cloud-native and hybrid
systems.
- DevOps Strategy: Develop and implement best practices for CI/CD
pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and containerization. Define
strategies for high availability, disaster recovery, and business
continuity.
- Automation and Tooling: Automate deployment pipelines,
configuration management, and system monitoring. Implement and
evaluate DevOps tools to optimize efficiency and scalability.
- Collaboration and Leadership: Collaborate with engineering, IT, and
product teams to align architectural strategies with business goals.
Mentor and guide development and operations teams on adopting
DevOps practices.
- Cloud Expertise: Optimize Azure cloud infrastructure for high
performance, security, and cost optimization. Implement advanced
networking and monitoring solutions within Azure.
- Monitoring and Optimization: Establish observability practices to
ensure system reliability. Conduct reviews and optimization efforts for
scalability and cost-effectiveness.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 11+ years of experience in DevOps, software architecture, and Azure
cloud technologies.
- Expertise in designing scalable, resilient, and secure software
architectures.
- Hands-on experience in CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure
Pipelines.
- In-depth expertise in Azure cloud services (AKS, Azure DevOps, Azure
Monitoring tools).
- Strong knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker,
Kubernetes).
- Experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
- Solid understanding of network architecture, cloud security best
practices, and governance.
- Proven leadership experience in mentoring and building
high-performance teams.
- Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration and
presenting strategies to stakeholders.
