Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
1.Prepare detailed design layouts, GA drawings, P&IDs, and isometric drawings for gas pipeline, HVAC, and utility systems.
2.Design and model High Purity / UHP Gas Distribution Systems, vacuum, chemical piping, and cleanroom utility systems.
3.Understand project specifications and convert concepts into shop drawings and BOQs.
4.Collaborate with the project and execution teams to ensure design accuracy and project feasibility.
5.Work closely with vendors and internal procurement team to validate component specifications.
6.Coordinate and support site engineers and project managers for any design-related modifications.
7.Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., ASME, CGA, NFPA, IS Codes) and client specifications.
Key Skills Required:
1. Hands-on experience in AutoCAD / SolidWorks / Revit MEP
2. Strong understanding of gas piping standards, cleanroom utility layouts, and HVAC ducting
3. Expertise in BOQ preparation, valve & fittings selection, and sizing of pipes
4. Knowledge of safety standards and system interlocks
5. Familiarity with designing gas manifolds, cylinder banks, valve boxes, and control panels
6. Experience in Pharma, Lab, Oil & Gas, or MEP project-based industries preferred
Desired Candidate Profile:
5 to 10 years of design experience in GDS, HVAC, or MEP industries. Strong technical background and ability to work independently on design projects. Experience in project estimation and supporting sales/design coordination. Proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously
