Oracle Pl/sql Apex Developer @ Capgemini

Job Description

Seeking an experienced Oracle PL/SQL APEX Developer with 6 to 9 years of hands-on experience in Oracle APEX , PL/SQL programming , and Oracle RDBMS . The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-grade applications using Oracle technologies, ensuring performance, scalability, and reliability.Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and deploy Oracle APEX applications for enterprise use.

Write efficient and optimized PL/SQL code for data processing, business logic, and backend services.

Manage and maintain Oracle RDBMS schemas, tables, indexes, and stored procedures.

Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Optimize database performance through indexing , query tuning , and data modeling .

Use integrated development environments (IDEs) and source code editors to manage and version control application code.

Ensure application security, data integrity, and compliance with IT standards.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science , Information Technology , or a related field.

6 to 9 years of experience in Oracle APEX , PL/SQL , and Oracle RDBMS development.

Strong understanding of relational database design , data modeling , and SQL performance tuning .

Experience with software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies .

Preferred Skills:

Familiarity with RESTful web services , JSON/XML , and APEX plug-ins .

Experience in version control systems (e.g., Git).

Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Works in the area of Software Engineering, which encompasses the development, maintenance and optimization of software solutions/applications.1. Applies scientific methods to analyse and solve software engineering problems.2. He/she is responsible for the development and application of software engineering practice and knowledge, in research, design, development and maintenance.3. His/her work requires the exercise of original thought and judgement and the ability to supervise the technical and administrative work of other software engineers.4. The software engineer builds skills and expertise of his/her software engineering discipline to reach standard software engineer skills expectations for the applicable role, as defined in Professional Communities.5. The software engineer collaborates and acts as team player with other software engineers and stakeholders.
