Job Description

Job Summary:

We seek a highly analytical and detail-oriented Technical Commercial Data Analyst to join our commercial team. The candidate will extract, analyse, and interpret key commercial data from SAP (PS, MM, SD modules) and other sources. This includes working with Pre-Start Estimate (PSE), Cost to Company (CTC), Actual to Date (ATD), Profit & Loss (P&L), variance analysis, labour rate analysis, material rate analysis, and other cost-related parameters.

The role requires strong analytical skills, data correlation abilities, and the capability to develop process improvements and tracking mechanisms to enhance commercial efficiency.

Role & responsibilities

• Gather and analyze commercial and financial data from SAP and other relevant sources.
• Determine current trends for all cost heads at the corporate level.
• Perform variance analysis by comparing standard costs against actual costs and examining discrepancies.
• Suggest cost-reducing or profitability-enhancing solutions based on data insights.
• Develop tracking systems to provide timely indicators of variations from budgeted costs.
• Analyze and correlate data to identify trends and patterns.
• Develop new data models and solutions to address identified gaps.
• Coordinate with teams to understand current systems' gaps, inefficiencies, and improvement areas.
• Develop process manuals and documentation to standardize commercial functional practices.
• Prepare reports and dashboards in Excel, Power BI, and PowerPoint to support management in cost reduction planning.
• Utilize predictive analysis to forecast future trends and risks.
• Ensure data integrity and accuracy in all commercial reports and tracking mechanisms.
