Job Description
- You will be joining Genpact as a Management Trainee in the Source to Contract department. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end procurement process, from identifying sourcing opportunities to executing contracts. Your main duties will include overseeing vendor selection, negotiation, and contract administration. To excel in this pivotal role, you will need to possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities. Additionally, you will be expected to handle vendor management, develop sourcing strategies, negotiate effectively, and manage supplier performance to ensure the services align with the contracts. As a Management Trainee, you will collaborate closely with customers to understand their requirements, scout for better suppliers, and perform spend and market analytics to identify the best available market prices for ongoing projects. You will play a crucial role in achieving savings targets, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining customer satisfaction. Qualifications: - Graduation in any subject area - Relevant work experience in a sourcing role, preferably with indirect services experience - Business knowledge and understanding of sourcing and procurement activities - Good communication and analytical skills - Strong analytics skills Preferred qualifications: - Customer-centric focus with the ability to manage relationships effectively - Proficiency in MS Office Tools (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint) - Exposure to ERP systems (Oracle/SAP/Ariba/Emptoris or any other S&P tools) If you have a proactive and can-do attitude, along with the skills mentioned above, we invite you to apply for this Management Trainee position at Genpact.
