Job Description

    The Automation Testing role for Java and Selenium is a critical position within our organization, dedicated to ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through the design and implementation of automated tests. As the incumbent in this role, you will have a significant impact on the seamless operation of our applications and the timely release of high-quality software. Your responsibilities will include designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts using Java and Selenium. You will execute test scripts, analyze results to pinpoint defects and performance issues, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to comprehend project requirements and provide appropriate testing solutions. Additionally, you will be involved in test planning, estimation, and prioritization activities, contributing to the enhancement and optimization of the existing automation framework. Integration, regression, and performance testing are also integral parts of the software development lifecycle that you will perform. You will create and update test documentation, report on test results, identify areas for automation, and implement automated testing procedures. Participation in code reviews to offer feedback on testability and automation aspects, as well as staying informed about industry best practices and technological advancements in test automation, are also key aspects of the role. The ideal candidate for this position should possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field and demonstrate proven experience in automation testing using Java and Selenium. A strong grasp of testing methodologies, tools, and techniques, along with proficiency in Java programming for test automation, is essential. Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, the ability to analyze and interpret test results for improvement opportunities, excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, and a good understanding of the software development lifecycle and agile methodologies are also required. Furthermore, effective communication and collaboration skills to thrive in a team environment, meticulous attention to detail, and a dedication to ensuring the quality of software products are vital qualities for success in this role.,
