Job Description
- As a seasoned Senior ETL/DB Tester, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing comprehensive test plans to validate ETL and database processes. Your expertise in SQL and experience with tools like Talend, ADF, Snowflake, and Power BI will be crucial in ensuring data integrity and accuracy across modern data platforms. Your analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced data engineering environment will be key in this role. Your main responsibilities will include validating data transformations and integrity, performing manual testing and defect tracking using tools like Zephyr or Tosca, analyzing business and data requirements for test coverage, and writing complex SQL queries for data reconciliation. You will also be expected to identify data-related issues, conduct root cause analysis in collaboration with developers, and track bugs and enhancements using appropriate tools. In addition, you will optimize testing strategies for performance, scalability, and accuracy in ETL processes. Your skills in ETL tools like Talend, ADF, data platforms like Snowflake, and reporting/analytics tools such as Power BI and VPI will be essential for success in this role. Your expertise in API testing and advanced features of Power BI like Dashboards, DAX, and Data Modelling will further strengthen your testing capabilities. Overall, your role as a Senior ETL/DB Tester will require a combination of technical skills, testing proficiency, and collaboration with various teams to ensure the reliability and accuracy of data processes across different data platforms and tools.,
