Job Description
- You are a highly skilled and creative Mechatronics Engineer specializing in Robotics & Educational Platforms. As part of our team at Technohub v2.0 in Hyderabad, Telangana, India, you will lead the integration of physical computing, robotics, and automation elements into our ICT technology development. Your role is crucial in designing, developing, and implementing interactive learning experiences that bridge the digital and physical worlds, with a focus on Single Board Computers (SBCs) and popular educational robotics platforms. Your responsibilities include designing, developing, and prototyping mechatronic systems for educational applications, integrating robotics, sensors, actuators, and embedded systems. You will leverage SBCs like Raspberry Pi to control robots and mechatronic devices, optimizing their performance and integration within Technohub v2.0. Moreover, you will develop software and hardware interfaces to integrate with educational robotics platforms such as LEGO Mindstorms, VEX Robotics, and Arduino-based kits, creating libraries and APIs for seamless interaction and control within our platform. Your expertise extends to Linux development, where you will create and test software applications and drivers for mechatronic systems in a Ubuntu OS environment. This involves developing control algorithms, communication protocols, and ensuring the functionality of these systems through testing, troubleshooting, and debugging. Collaboration with software developers, UI/UX designers, and educational content creators is essential to deliver engaging and effective learning experiences. To qualify for this role, you should hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechatronics Engineering, Robotics Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field, along with 3-5 years of experience in mechatronics engineering, with a focus on robotics and embedded systems. Proficiency in programming languages like C, C++, Python, or similar is required, as well as expertise in SBCs such as Raspberry Pi. Experience with educational robotics platforms, Linux environments, and knowledge of robotics principles are essential.
