Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
. Technology Strategy & Vision
- Define the company's technical vision and lead all aspects of technological development.
- Create and implement a technology roadmap aligned with product and business goals.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and assess how they can be leveraged for growth.
2. Product Development Oversight
- Lead the architecture, design, and development of web, mobile, and cloud-based software products.
- Oversee the end-to-end software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Work closely with product managers and business teams to translate product ideas into technical solutions.
3. Team Leadership & Talent Management
- Build, lead, and mentor the tech team including developers, DevOps, QA, and UI/UX professionals.
- Define the companys technical culture and promote innovation, ownership, and agile practices.
- Make key decisions in hiring, training, and retaining top tech talent.
4. Architecture & Infrastructure
- Design scalable, secure, and maintainable system architecture.
- Oversee cloud infrastructure setup, cost optimization, and reliability (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Ensure best practices in DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, version control, and performance monitoring.
5. Security, Compliance & Risk Management
- Implement data privacy, application security, and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, ISO).
- Manage technical risks and maintain disaster recovery and backup plans.
6. Business & Stakeholder Alignment
- Work directly with the CEO and co-founders to align technology with business models.
- Help pitch to investors by presenting the technical edge of the company.
- Provide technical insights in fundraising, partnerships, and client discussions.
7. Budgeting & Vendor Management
- Plan and manage the tech budget, including infrastructure and tooling costs.
- Evaluate and manage third-party vendors, SaaS platforms, and open-source tools.
8. Innovation & Scaling
- Drive technology innovation to differentiate the product.
Plan for scaling infrastructure and teams as the company grows from MVP to enterprise level.
