IT Recruiter Contract Staffing / Contractual Hiring


Job Description:

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced IT Recruiter to join our team, focused on contractual hiring. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of IT skills and contractual hiring models (C2C, C2H, W2) and must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. This role requires hands-on experience in sourcing, screening, negotiating, and onboarding contract-based IT professionals across various technologies.


Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with hiring managers and clients to understand contract-based IT resource requirements.
  • Source and identify suitable candidates using job portals, social media, references, and internal databases.
  • Screen candidates for technical skills, contract availability, expected rate, and communication.
  • Schedule interviews and coordinate between candidates and client teams.
  • Negotiate compensation based on different contract models (C2C/W2/C2H) and share offer details.
  • Facilitate documentation, background checks, and onboarding of selected candidates.
  • Maintain trackers and reports for submissions, interviews, offers, and onboarding status.
  • Build a strong pipeline of IT contractors across various skill sets (Cloud, Java, DevOps, Data, etc.).
  • Manage post-placement follow-ups and coordinate for contract renewals or replacements.
  • Ensure compliance with all documentation and legal requirements during the hiring lifecycle.

Required Skills:


  • 25 years of experience in IT recruitment, especially in contract staffing
  • Strong knowledge of IT technologies and platforms
  • Hands-on experience with Naukri, LinkedIn, Monster, etc.
  • Experience in working with C2C, C2H, or W2 contract models
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills
  • Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Excel reporting

Good to Have:


  • Prior experience hiring for MNC clients or system integrators
  • Understanding of billing/invoicing cycles for contractors
  • Strong networking with contract/freelance IT consultants
