Role & responsibilities The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Zscaler solutions, providing advanced troubleshooting, configuration, and support for Zscaler's cloud-based security services. This includes Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA), Zscaler Private Access (ZPA), and other related Zscaler products. The L3 Zscaler Support Engineer will work closely with the L2 support team and other stakeholders to ensure the successful deployment and maintenance of Zscaler security services for the organization.
Preferred candidate profile
1. Strong understanding of Zscaler architecture and components (ZIA, ZPA & ZDX)
2. Provide advanced support for Zscaler products, particularly Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA) and Zscaler Private Access (ZPA), ensuring smooth operation, access control, and threat protection across cloud environments.
3. Assist in the configuration, deployment, and management of Zscaler services to meet organizational security requirements.
4. Investigate and resolve complex issues related to Zscaler services, including connectivity, performance, and security incidents. Provide technical support for troubleshooting customer issues reported by L1 & L2 support or directly by end-users.
5. Manage and configure Zscaler policies to enforce security best practices, access control, and content filtering. Optimize policies to balance performance and security requirements for both ZIA and ZPA.
6. Knowledge of security protocols such as VPN, SSL VPN, and IPSec.
7. Experience with SAML, LDAP, and other identity management systems for integration with Zscaler.
