Java Developer Cloud Modernization Job Description:
- Responsible for migrating IBM Websphere-based applications to an open-source Java stack on Kubernetes platform.
- Design, develop, and implement cloud-native Java applications using modern frameworks and technologies.
- Contribute to the architecture and implementation of microservices-based solutions.
- Participate in the containerization and orchestration of applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration and deployment of applications.

- Engage in continuous integration and deployment processes, including testing and monitoring.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in cloud-native development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Migrate IBM Websphere-based applications to an open-source Java stack on Kubernetes.
- Design and develop cloud-native Java applications using modern frameworks and technologies.
- Participate in the containerization and orchestration of applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and resilience in the cloud environment.
- Engage in continuous integration and deployment processes, including testing and monitoring.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration and deployment of applications.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in cloud-native development.
Qualifications:
- 3 to 6 years of experience in Java development.
- Strong understanding of cloud-native architecture and microservices-based solutions.
- Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and other modern Java frameworks.
- Experience with containerization using Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment tools and processes.
- Experience in migrating legacy applications to cloud-based platforms.
- Knowledge of cloud infrastructure, monitoring, and security best practices.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
