Job Description
We are hiring for a Precast Engineer for Bangalore location.
Responsibilities:
- Design & Detailing of Precast Concrete Structures:
- Develop and create detailed designs for precast concrete components used in construction projects.
- Perform structural calculations to ensure that the precast components meet strength, stability, and durability requirements.
- Precast Concrete Production Oversight:
- Oversee the manufacturing process of precast concrete elements, ensuring strict adherence to project specifications, quality standards, and delivery timelines.
- Manage the precast concrete production line, optimizing workflow and minimizing production costs.
- Site Supervision and Quality Control:
- Oversee the entire precast concrete production process, including mold preparation, mixing, pouring, curing, and de-molding, ensuring adherence to the production schedule.
- Suggest and implement process improvements to streamline the production process, reduce waste, and optimize material usage.
- Inspect and test raw materials (cement, aggregates, steel reinforcement) before they are used in production to ensure they meet required standards.
- Material Selection & Testing:
- Final Product Inspection - Visual Inspection, Dimensional Checks etc.
- Conduct tests on concrete mix designs and Raw materials to ensure durability, strength, and compliance with standards.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Prepare detailed reports on quality control checks for each production batch, including raw material tests, mix design details, strength tests, and any deviations found during the production process.
- Compliance with IS Standards
- Prepare reports of in House Testing Reports, Production, Rejections and Dispatch Reports
- Troubleshooting & Technical Support:
- Provide technical support for resolving issues during the production phase.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- B.Tech / B.E. in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.
- Certification or training in Precast Concrete or related fields is a plus.
- Experience:
- 1-4 years of experience in precast concrete design, production, or Civil Construction Site.
- Familiarity with industry standards (ACI, BS, IS, etc.) and relevant software (AutoCAD).
