Job Description
We are looking for a highly skilled Software Test Engineer with strong expertise in both manual and automation testing, particularly in Agile environments. The ideal candidate will have comprehensive experience in testing web applications and APIs, strong knowledge of REST protocols and microservices architecture, and the ability to work with CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and enhance test automation frameworks and scripts from scratch and for existing frameworks.
- Conduct thorough manual testing covering all levelsfrom unit to load, endurance, and cross-platform testingintegrated into CI/CD pipelines.
- Execute and maintain API automation tests using Rest Assured and perform web automation using Selenium with Java.
- Work closely with Agile teams, actively participating in Scrum ceremonies and ensuring timely delivery of testing tasks aligned with project SLAs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing automation scripts and improve framework reliability and scalability.
- Collaborate with DevOps and development teams to integrate automation tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, TeamCity.
- Utilize monitoring and logging tools such as Kibana and Grafana to analyze test results and system performance.
- Use Postman for API testing and validation.
- Engage in continuous improvement activities around testing processes, automation efficiency, and tool adoption.
- Communicate effectively in English within cross-functional teams and with stakeholders.
Mandatory Skills:
- 7+ years of manual software testing experience.
- 6+ years in software test automation.
- Strong hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver using Java.
- Expertise in API automation using Rest Assured.
- Good understanding of web application testing, REST protocols, and microservices architecture.
- Experience working with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, TeamCity).
- Knowledge of test frameworks such as JUnit, Cypress, Selenium.
- Experience with Postman for API testing.
- Comfortable working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes (K8s).
- Knowledge of source code management tools such as Bitbucket.
- Experience with monitoring tools like Kibana and Grafana.
Top 3 Responsibilities:
- Develop automation frameworks and add new automation scripts; execute and validate automated test runs.
- Maintain and troubleshoot existing automation scripts ensuring they remain effective and reliable.
- Actively participate in Agile team meetings and contribute towards meeting project SLAs and deliverables.
