Job Description
Build the backbone of quality at Spectacom. As an SDET, you'll ensure our tech platforms are robust and reliable, powering fitness and adventure experiences that inspire millions. Dive into automation, CI/CD, and real-world testing challenges.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Collaborate with developers to understand product features and testing needs
- Design and implement automated test cases for mobile, web, and backend platforms
- Maintain and scale existing test automation frameworks
- Document, log, and track bugs in coordination with the development team
- Participate in code reviews related to test scripts and automation coverage
- Contribute to the integration of testing into CI/CD pipelines
- Support testing during product releases and assist in debugging issues across environments
- Recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field
- Proficient in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, or JavaScript)
- Understanding of core testing concepts, including test case writing, regression testing, and bug tracking
- Basic knowledge of automation tools or testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Appium)
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Self-driven and eager to learn in a fast-paced, startup-like environment
- Exposure to API testing tools (e.g., Postman, Swagger, REST-assured)
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI
- Understanding of mobile app testing practices and guidelines (especially Android/iOS)
- Experience working in agile development environments (e.g., Scrum, Kanban)
- Interest in sports tech, media-tech, or consumer-facing applications
