Job Description
- As an Accounts & Finance Executive at our dynamic and fast-growing company based in Salt Lake City, Sector-V, Kolkata, you will play a crucial role in managing the financial operations with precision and expertise. With a team of approximately 35-40 employees, our company operates in the Semiconductor-based sector, renowned for its innovative approach and commitment to excellence. Join our finance and accounting team to contribute to our expansion and success. Your responsibilities will include recording and maintaining accurate financial transactions, reconciling bank statements, assisting in financial statements" preparation, and conducting audits for compliance with internal controls. Furthermore, you will collaborate with the finance team for budgeting and forecasting processes, monitor budgetary performance, and analyze financial data to identify improvement areas. Supporting the month-end and year-end closing activities will involve preparing general ledger reconciliations, assisting in financial statements" preparation, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations and best practices. Your role will also require providing financial analysis and reporting, developing financial models, and conducting profitability analysis to recommend improvement strategies. To excel in this role, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, along with 5-7 years of relevant work experience in finance or accounting. Proficiency in using accounting software like Tally software, excellent knowledge of MS Excel, strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently are essential. Moreover, you should have strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
