QA Automation Engineer @ Anand Transformers

Job Description

As an Automation Tester at our company, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and functionality of our software applications. Your responsibilities will include designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts for web and/or mobile applications. You will execute automated test cases, analyze results, and collaborate with various teams to identify and resolve defects. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain automated test scripts for web and/or mobile applications. - Execute test cases and analyze results, reporting and tracking defects using bug tracking tools. - Collaborate with developers, QA analysts, and product teams to resolve issues. - Participate in test planning, estimation, and review meetings. - Ensure test coverage, test data setup, and maintain automation frameworks. - Provide regular updates on test progress and quality metrics. Required Skills & Qualifications: - 6 months to 2 years of experience in automation testing. - Strong knowledge of Selenium WebDriver or similar automation tools. - Proficiency in at least one programming language. - Experience with test frameworks like TestNG, JUnit, or PyTest. - Understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies. - Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman/RestAssured. - Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git, etc. - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Good to Have: - Knowledge of performance testing tools like JMeter. - Experience in writing SQL queries for database validation. Education: - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. This is a full-time, permanent position with benefits including paid sick time.
