Job Description
- As a Cloud Infrastructure Architect in the IT industry, you will be responsible for designing and implementing cloud solutions that meet security, risk, and compliance requirements on AWS. Your key responsibilities will include proficiency in AWS services such as Control Tower, Organizations, Service Catalog, CloudFormation, CloudTrail, and IAM. You should also be familiar with core AWS services like VPC, EC2, S3, Lambda, and have experience with DevOps practices using tools such as Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes. Furthermore, you will need to have knowledge of AWS security best practices, compliance requirements, and experience with security services like AWS Config, GuardDuty, Macie, and Security Hub. Your role will involve developing CI/CD pipelines, automating security, risk, and compliance tasks, and working with customers to convey cloud computing best practices. Additionally, you will be responsible for building governance structures, implementing tagging workflows for improved governance and cost monitoring, and conducting assessments and remediations. You should have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, proven experience as a Cloud Infrastructure Architect, and strong expertise in Terraform for infrastructure as code (IaC). Preferred qualifications include relevant certifications in cloud technologies and familiarity with Service Catalog development and automation tools. Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and strong communication and collaboration skills are essential for success in this role. This is a full-time position with off-shore/remote location and working in the US shift time zone. The initial duration of the job is 2 months with a potential for extension.
