Automation Tester (Selenium) @ Aditya Birla Sun Life

Job Description

As an Automation Tester with 3 to 10 years of experience in Selenium automation testing, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver with C# or Java. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand software requirements, design test cases, and execute automated test scripts to ensure thorough test coverage and adherence to quality standards. Your role will also involve participating in test planning, test case design, and test strategy discussions, as well as identifying, documenting, and tracking software defects. In this position, you will contribute to the continuous improvement of the testing process by suggesting and implementing best practices and tools. It is essential to stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in automation testing and share knowledge within the team. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field is required, along with proficiency in programming with C# or Java and experience with test automation frameworks. Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment are also important. The ideal candidate should have experience with Behavior Driven Development (BDD) and tools like SpecFlow, familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git), and continuous integration tools. Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and willingness to work in UK shift timings are essential for this role. The compensation for this position ranges from 5 LPA to 25 LPA based on experience and skills. This Automation Tester position is based in Bangalore.
