Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Purchase Executive to join our team in Visakhapatnam, India. As a key member of our procurement department, you will be responsible for managing the purchasing process, negotiating contracts, and ensuring cost-effective procurement of goods and services for our organization.
- Develop and implement effective purchasing strategies to optimize cost savings and improve operational efficiency
- Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and secure favorable terms with suppliers
- Analyze market trends, pricing data, and supplier performance to make informed purchasing decisions
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their requirements and ensure timely procurement of goods and services
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and inventory levels
- Conduct regular cost analysis and identify opportunities for cost reduction
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements
- Implement and maintain inventory control systems to optimize stock levels and minimize waste
- Prepare and analyze procurement reports to support decision-making processes
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in procurement and supply chain management
