Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Software Test Engineer with hands-on experience in Performance Testing and Automation Testing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, executing, analyzing, and reporting performance and load testing activities across web applications, APIs, and backend services, along with maintaining automation test frameworks for functional and regression testing.

Key Responsibilities:

 Performance Testing:

• Design, develop, and maintain performance test plans, test scripts, and scenarios.
• Identify performance bottlenecks, memory leaks, and scalability issues.
• Collaborate with developers, DevOps, and business analysts to define performance benchmarks and SLAs.
• Simulate load across different environments (QA, staging, production-like).
• Analyze performance test results using logs, JMeter metrics, and monitoring tools.
• Integrate performance testing into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.
• Generate and present performance test reports with actionable recommendations.
• Support capacity planning, tuning suggestions, and root cause analysis.

 Automation Testing:

• Design and maintain UI and API automation frameworks using Selenium, TestNG, RestAssured, or similar tools.
• Write robust, maintainable automation scripts in Java, Python, or equivalent languages.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test coverage and ensure test quality.
• Execute functional, regression, smoke, and sanity test suites as part of the automation lifecycle.
• Integrate automation suites into CI/CD workflows, manage test data, and maintain test results.
