Team Lead - Air Operations @ Indtex Solutions

Job Description

Job Responsibilities

• Managing the complete operation team for Existing Offline retails, Online Retails. B2B and B2C and corporate ticketing.
• Responsible and Accountable for the complete Functions under Operations which includes Ticketing, Invoicing, Quality Checks, In-house sales support for UK and Indtex reservation team, Queue distribution, Queue management, Dispatching and Fare filing for Air and Land contracts etc.
• Manage all operational aspects of routine support functions through direct supervision & ensuring due personal involvement in relevant areas.
• Involve in Escalation process to resolve issues with the Airline and Home and away team in Leicester where service levels are not met.
• Maintain excellent relations with each domestic and International Airline sales team.
• Maintain excellent relations with all the employees of Home and away UK team and internal sales team.
• Involved in assessment of Service level achieved by the each staff in flight operations team and proposing improvement plans and assist the team in implementing such plans.
• Lead, train and motivate the air ticketing team.
• Assess & plan training requirements for Executives.
• Stay updated on aviation industry trends and technologies.

Desired Candidate Profile:

• Bachelors degree in Travel & Tourism or related field.
• Minimum 5 year of experience into Air Operations role.
• Excellent knowledge of GDS systems - Amadeus/ Galileo/ Sabre etc.
• Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure.
• Strong customer service orientation.
• Good leadership and communication abilities.
• Open to work in UK Shift time.
