Node.js Backend Developer @ Zzazz

Job Description

As a Nodejs Backend Developer at ZZAZZ, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing backend services and APIs that power our platform You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure scalable architecture, high performance, and seamless integration with front-end services Your contributions will be vital in building the technical backbone for ZZAZZs mission to redefine value in the information economy , responsibilitiesDesign and implement backend services and APIs using Node js frameworks like Express or NestJS Ensure high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front end Optimize and refactor existing code to enhance efficiency and scalability Collaborate with DevOps teams to streamline deployment pipelines Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing applications Contribute to architectural decisions and ensure adherence to best practices Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback Work closely with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements Monitor application performance and implement improvements where needed , skillsetProficiency in Node js and frameworks like Express or NestJS Strong understanding of RESTful API design and development Experience working with relational and non-relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB) Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure Understanding of microservices architecture and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes) Strong debugging and performance tuning skills Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced startup environment experience3+ years of experience in backend development using Node js Hands-on experience with building and maintaining production-ready services Experience with DevOps and CI/CD processes is a plus educationBachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred Relevant certifications in cloud computing or backend development are a plus
