Job Description

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop a business plan and sales strategy based on company sales goals and profitability.
  • Responsible for the performance and development of the Sales Executives within the assigned territory.
  • Prepares action plans for individuals as well as for the sales team by effective search of sales leads and prospects.
  • Assign sales territories, set goals, and establish training programs for their sales executives / representatives.
  • Initiates and coordinates development of action plans to penetrate new markets.
  • Assists & also participate in marketing events such as seminars, trade shows, and telemarketing events.
  • At the beginning of each month, discuss with the salesperson to establish realistic sales objectives for the month and action plan.
  • Handle, Identify and resolve client concerns.
  • Follow up on new leads and referrals from field activity.
  • Follow-up for collection of payment.
  • Ensure that the sales floor operations functions smoothly.
  • Motivate & developing the most well trained, professional sales force possible.
  • Assist Sales Executives in the selling process whenever needed.
  • Conducts one-on-one review with all the Sales Executives to build more effective communications, to understand training and development needs, and to provide insight for the improvement of the Executives and their activity performance.
  • Communicate new product and service opportunities, special developments, information, or feedback gathered through field activity to appropriate department / personnel in the organization.
  • Provides timely feedback about Sales Executives to the senior management regarding their performances.
  • Provides timely, accurate, competitive pricing on all proposals submitted for pricing and approval, while striving to maintain maximum profit margin.
  • Maintains accurate records of all pricings, sales, activity reports submitted by Sales Executives.
  • Creates and conducts presentations whenever / wherever required.
  • Assist Sales Executives in preparation of proposals and presentations.
  • Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team.
  • Making every effort to maximize both present and long term sales and gross profits.
  • Prepare in advance and conduct regular sales meetings.
  • Recruits, tests, and hires Sales Executives based on criteria agreed upon by the senior management.
  • Offer the coaching, counseling, advice, support, motivation or information they need in order to help Sales Executives meet their sales target.
  • Constantly strive toward continuing professional growth.
  • Work to improve your sales skills, managerial skills, business skills and product knowledge.
  • Insures that all Sales Executives meet or exceed all activity standards for prospecting calls, appointments, presentations, proposals etc.
  • Delegates authority and responsibility with accountability and follow-up.
  • Sets examples for Sales Executives in areas of personal character, commitment, organizational and selling skills, and work habits.
  • Maintains contact with all clients in the market area to ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
  • Demonstrates ability to interact and cooperate with all company employees

IDEAL BACKGROUND:

  • Experience: 5-7 years of experience in sales management
  • Education: university graduate, preferably a Textile graduate.
