Role & responsibilities

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior QA Engineer with strong experience in SQL-based testing and Snowflake data platform. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and executing test plans, validating data pipelines, and ensuring the integrity and accuracy of data across systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases for data validation and ETL processes.
Perform complex SQL queries to validate data transformations, aggregations, and business logic.
Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to ensure data quality and consistency across Snowflake environments.
Develop and maintain test scripts and test data for Snowflake-based data pipelines.
Identify, document, and track defects using tools like JIRA or Azure DevOps.

Preferred candidate profile

Required Skills & Qualifications: 5-7 years of experience in software testing, preferably in data-centric environments. Strong proficiency in SQL (joins, subqueries, window functions, etc.). Hands-on experience with Snowflake - writing queries, understanding schema design, and working with Snowflake-specific features. Familiarity with ETL tools and data integration workflows.
