Job Summary:

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced AVP Sales with deep expertise in end-to-end sales of customized IT solutions within the Banking sector. The role will focus primarily on account farming (80%) and cross-selling, while also contributing to new business acquisition (20%). The ideal candidate should have a strong background in managing strategic banking clients, with a proven ability to grow accounts, develop tailored solutions, and manage a team of 2 sales professionals.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and drive the entire sales lifecycle from lead generation and qualification to deal closure and account growth.
  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for Digital and IT Services offerings in the BFSI domain.
  • Must have deep expertise in customized solution sales, including core banking, digital transformation and cloud services.
  • Identify, engage, and manage relationships with C-level executives and key decision-makers in target accounts and increase wallet share via cross-selling.
  • Manage, mentor, and support a team of 2 Sales Managers, enabling them to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of banking domain trends, IT challenges, and solution mapping is essential.
  • Achieve quarterly and annual revenue targets, building a healthy sales pipeline and forecast accuracy.
  • Collaborate with internal delivery, marketing, and pre-sales teams to ensure alignment on customer solutions and proposals.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of industry trends, customer needs, and competitive offerings.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 12 to 18 years of sales experience in IT Services sales with a strong focus on the BFSI sector.
  • Proven expertise in the end-to-end sales lifecycle, from prospecting through closing and account expansion.
  • Good experience into Farming.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed sales targets in competitive markets.
  • Strong understanding of digital transformation, cloud, data analytics, automation, and other emerging technologies.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
