Jr. QA Engineer @ Zysk Technologies

As an experienced Jr. QA Engineer at Zysk Tech, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our web and mobile applications. Youll be working on diverse and exciting projects, predominantly built using open-source frameworks such as Nest.js, Python Django, PHP Laravel, React.js, and Vue.js. Review and analyze system specifications, collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop effective test strategies and plans.

Execute manual test cases and analyze results to identify, log, and track bugs and errors.

Evaluate product code according to specifications and ensure adherence to quality standards.

Work closely with developers to provide feedback and recommendations for improvements.

Create and maintain clear, concise, and well-structured test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test scripts.

Conduct various types of testing, including functional, integration, system, regression, and usability testing, utilizing testing methodologies such as black-box, grey-box, and white-box testing.

Utilize testing tools such as Jira, TestRail, Selenium, Postman, and BrowserStack for test case management, defect tracking, and test execution.

Perform API testing, cross-browser testing, and cross-platform testing on web and mobile applications.

Monitor and report on test execution progress and defect status, providing regular updates to project stakeholders.

Stay up to date with new testing tools, methodologies, and industry best practices.

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

1-3 years of proven experience as a QA Engineer, with a strong focus on manual testing of web and mobile applications.

Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.

Hands-on experience with test case management tools and defect tracking systems, such as Jira and TestRail.

Solid experience in API testing, cross-browser testing, and cross-platform testing.

Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development processes and experience working in an Agile environment.

Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify, isolate, and document defects.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
