Job Description
- As a Test Lead at our company, you will need to have proven working experience in Software Quality Assurance. Your role will require a strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes. You should be well-versed in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases. It is essential to have hands-on experience with automated testing tools and performance testing. Additionally, you must have experience in documentation and flow charts. Your strong written and verbal communication skills will be crucial as you will be leading the testing team and providing direction based on the prioritization of business requirements. Your responsibilities will include defining and understanding business functions and processes, leading and owning manual testing and automated testing of client/server and web applications, and having a thorough understanding of different test stages and activities. You will be responsible for test management skills, documentation standards, and acting as a liaison between departmental end-users and IT analysts. Desired Candidate Profile: - Reporting the overall status of the team to higher management effectively. - 8 - 12 years of working experience in software quality assurance. - Basic understanding of HTML, .NET, and scripting languages. - Working knowledge of SQL and database testing. - Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes. - Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases. - Hands-on experience with white box and black box testing, automated testing tools, and performance testing. - Strong communication skills (both verbal and written). - Ability to lead, provide direction, prioritize, and organize work based on business needs. - Experience in documentation and flow charts.
