Job Description

The team at FIS is dedicated to providing competitive solutions for clients using our application for high-frequency and low-latency trading. Our platform simplifies deal capture, proprietary valuation models, risk reports, and utilizes independent market data to enhance risk management. Your responsibilities will include developing, maintaining, and enhancing manual or automated test scripts, utilities, simulators, and other programmatic tools necessary for test plan execution. You will conduct usability testing to evaluate system performance, reliability, scalability, and security, and effectively communicate testing activities and findings both orally and in writing. Additionally, you will manage your daily test activities, provide internal quality assurance, assist in identifying risks, and support the development of mitigation strategies. Maintaining the test script library and performing other related duties as required will also be part of your role. To be successful in this role, you should have 4 to 5 years of experience in manual and automation testing, with proficiency in tools such as Selenium or SAFAL and SQL. Knowledge of Azure and domain expertise in the Commodity market are desirable, along with strong automation skills. Qualifications: - A Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, computer science, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education, training, and work experience. Competencies: - Proficiency in software testing methods, tools, and technologies. - Understanding of quality management methods and tools to ensure defect-free software. - Familiarity with application development methodologies, database engines, and object-oriented development principles. - Ability to work effectively in an agile development environment, deliver results under pressure, and collaborate with technical and non-technical team members. - Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills, along with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
